Christian Bischof

Christian joined the NAG Board of Directors in 2015. His group at the Technische Universität Darmstadt is pursuing research on algorithmic differentiation and automated program transformation, parallel programming and algorithms, and performance modelling. Additionally, he is in charge of the computing center of TU Darmstadt, which provides high performance computing services with the Lichtenberg Cluster. Christian is the spokesman of the directorate of the Hessian Competence Center for HPC; in this dual role, he is both a scientist and a service provider for science.
