7 February 2018 – The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG), experts in algorithms, software and HPC, today announced the appointment of John Elmer to its Board of Directors.

John brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing to his position as a non-executive director at NAG. He spent 27 years, and ten as CEO, at strategy firm Gelb Consulting. He joined the Board of Directors of Endeavor Management after merging Gelb with Endeavor in 2011. His current venture, Bayard Bradford, integrates sales and marketing technologies with enterprise IT systems to provide a strategic toolkit for managing revenue growth.
With this appointment, NAG’s Board of Directors consists of nine members, including Stephen Todd (Chairman), University College London (UCL), Peter Jimack, University of Leeds, Karen Robb, Partner, Grant Thornton, Christian Bischof, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Stephen M. Watt, University of Waterloo, and Rob Meyer, Mike Dewar and Karen Lewis, NAG.
