Lawrence Mulholland, Senior Technical Consultant

As a Senior Technical Consultant at NAG, Lawrence's key responsibility is the continuous development of NAG's Numerical Libraries with particular reference to the maintenance of the NAG Engine (algorithmic core).

Lawrence has worked at NAG for over 8 years and was initially responsible for the ODE (Ordinary Differential Equations) software and was co-developer of the first release of the NAG SMP Library. Lawrence's special interest areas are in ODEs, PDEs, FFTs and RNGs.

Lawerence gained a Ph.D. in "Aspects of the Pseudospectral Methods for the Solution of Partial Differential Equations", and a first class honours in Mathematics at the University of Strathclyde.
