Ken Brodlie, University of Leeds

Ken Brodlie is Professor of Visualization in the School of Computing at the University of Leeds. Within the School, he heads the Visualization and Virtual Reality research group.

Ken's teaching covers the broad areas of visualization, computer graphics and virtual environments. The Visualization and Virtual Reality research group works particularly closely with NAG's IRIS Explorer. The e-science activity is centred on the White Rose Grid, a Centre of Excellence for the UK e-Science programme.

Ken gained a BSc (1st class hons) in Mathematics at University of Edinburgh, and an MSc and PhD in Numerical Analysis at the University of Dundee. From 1974 to 1987, he worked in the Computer Centre at the University of Leicester.
