Kusari License Management - Download of Binaries

Download the appropriate Kusari binaries for your platform.

• For trial licenses (TRIAL) downloading the Kusari binaries is not necessary.
• For node-locked licenses (FULL,NODE) you need to download only the khostid program
• Note, you don't need to run a license server for trial or node-locked licenses.
• For licenses requiring a license server (FLOATING,SITE), download the full set of binaries.

Procedure to Request and Install a Kusari Locked-Node License Key

In order to enable the software, NAG will issue you with a license key. The license key is a simple text file containing details of the software that will be enabled.

To request a license key, run the program khostid (refer to the Installer's Note or download the appropriate file from the table above). This utility must be run from a command prompt. Return the information that it displays by e-mail (or FAX) to the NAG Response Center.

Once you have obtained the license key, store the text of it in a file.

For example:
    for UNIX: [INSTALL_DIR]/nag_kusari.lic
    for Windows: [INSTALL_DIR]\nag_kusari.lic

The location of the license file must be made known to the NAG application by setting the environment variable NAG_KUSARI_FILE to the full pathname of the file before the application is invoked (some applications define a default license location, if you choose this location, you do not need to set the environment variable - see the Installer's Note for details).

For example, 
   in the UNIX C-shell, type: 
   setenv NAG_KUSARI_FILE [INSTALL_DIR]/nag_kusari.lic
or in the UNIX Bourne shell, type: 
   NAG_KUSARI_FILE=[INSTALL_DIR]/nag_kusari.lic
   export NAG_KUSARI_FILE
or for Windows:
   the environment varible setting can be added to the system environment
   setting using the control panel.
   NAG_KUSARI_FILE=[INSTALL_DIR]\nag_kusari.lic
